Attractive and well-maintained downtown areas are an investment in your community, both from a business and residential standpoint. When people are attracted to a downtown area, they visit more often. Businesses thrive. Property values increase, and the entire community benefits.
The projected cost of our project is about $40,000. Compared to the cost of a structure or major construction project, that represents a tremendous value for the impact that such a beautiful project will have on our town center. We'll receive quite a return on our sponsorship investment.
All Platinum-Level sponsors will become a prominent part of our Project, and will be named personally in all post-introductory printed materials distributed by the Committee. All Gold and Platinum-Level sponsors will become a permanent part of this project by having their names inscribed on the clock's base for all to see. All Silver-Level and above sponsors will receive the miniature clock, which will serve as a lasting reminder of their sponsorship. All sponsors will be thanked gratefully.
Our oldest buildings were once new, smelling of wet paint and sawdust. Our most treasured memories were once eagerly anticipated tomorrows. The future's historical events and places are being created by us, right now. This clock is a chance to create both an event and a piece of history that we will look back on fondly, and leave as a gift to those who come after us.
Your name on the Milltown Clock is a great gift to your family. Years from now, your children and grandchildren will feel their own sense of pride and community when their family's name is there for all to see.
We're almost out of time! The clock project fundraising is almost complete! In order to get your name on the clock and be a part of Milltown history, you must submit your sponsorship by Friday, October 9, 2009! Don't miss your chance! Click here or the Sponsors link above for a full list.

The Rock the Clock event on Friday, May 15 was a huge success! A big crowd came out for prizes, great ice cream, find out all about the Clock Project and other activities of the Milltown Revitalization Committee, and listen to some live classic rock by Loose Change! Thanks to all for a real blast!
